I just wished we had henchies there.. I don't have a monk who's finished the game.. so finding a group is difficult .. (I hear b/p groups and Bip necros are wanted) my only character who's finished the game is of the awful profession of Mesmer, meaning.... I WANT HENCHIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, henchies would be prefered to waiting for another few days for the guild to finish nightfall.

I won't say it's easy.
I won't say it's not very, very, very challenging. (I added bold for emphasis, see that? )
However, I will that that it is do-able.
It'll just take us some time and effort to figure out how!
Yea no kidding, from what I saw by running for my life.. it's gunna be a pain.

I love, when everybody is crying how hard it is ^^. Good, the harder the beter! So kidds can cry more and learn something from the game and "make" parties and leave their henc. at the side.

A-net & Ncsoft keep it up (thru u failed a LOT at l2!).

I didnt flamed, i just stateted my happy opinion ^^.

Regards.

Well i guess without non enchantmant armor buffs you won't go far there.
I haven't tried it yet but a Winter/Greater Conflaguration Ranger and an Elementalist with Wards should work tremendously well, probably even make it a bit too easy when you're stacking on Mantra of Frost.
I'll try it tomorrow, for now i've had enough ^^

Oh! Gaile!

Question: what bar in Bellevue do Anet employees go to on Friday nights? I work at MS in Redmond and would love to come hang out some evening. I met one of the Anet testers at the Turbine Entertainment party at PAX and would like to hang out more.

I don't think i'll be doing Domain of Anguish because based on what everyone said (those who visited the place multiple times with different builds) that this place will cause nothing but anguish for me if i try to do it.

This is lame... people go out, die, leave game, and RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOin QQ about it. How is anyone gonna learn how to do the quests when they just leave like a spoiled little ingrate?

The human factor here sucks... I'm excited about an elite area that's actually ELITE, but RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO pugging there, because I can't stand these little babbies who can't bare to try different things and find a way to win. It's like they can't accept the team just need to change it's build, it MUST be that they monks suck or something.

Gaile:

Any possibility of getting henchies for at least the non-elite mission related areas? I know you guys want to encourage grouping but I hate having to wait for the PuGs to get up to speed on actually clearing areas.

It will be like the Elite mission back when BkBd cleared it.. took us a lot of trial and error to figure out how to beat each part. Anyways, I'm really grateful you guys made this very hard - I want a challenge anyways!

The Makers of Guild Wars must be on a power trip to make Nightfall as hard as it is. our levels are max'd at lvl 20 but yeah going through the game almost all enemies half way through the game are lvl 24 and higher. once u enter the vortex u get almost all sitting at lvl 28 now someone tell me the fairness in that. then all of a sudden WOW they do us a favor and add an elite area wohooo get us all excited about it and boom go in there 1 hit from any enemy and boom your dead.. wow THAT was fun! let's all try it again BOOM die again wow we are having fun now. You wanna sit there and laugh at those trying to beat it, fine go for it... who'll be laughing the hardest when we don't buy the next guild wars cause u think it's fun to make it impossible to do. the reason and the only reason prophecies did so good was cause it allowed US the players to do what we wanted what quests we wanted etc... u make nightfall with 10000 quests so people get bored of playing it.. i have 6 characters to run through nightfall do u REALLY think im going to do it? NO cause the quests are TEDIOUS and boring. The hero idea yes it was a good idea. maybe u should make like u did a stash for materials make one for dye's and key's but that would make to much sense to use your brain instead u want to make a game so HARD nobody is enjoying it anymore. So use any info you might and sit there laughing to the bank cause u made a bunch of money off of this one but u keep screwing around with the guild wars world and environment and changing things so that it's either to hard or to many quests to finish the game people won't buy the next one therefore putting u out of business..

enjoy your success now cause it won't last long.. don't believe me?? do a survey and ask the people who bought your game!

The release blurb says "players" who have finished the game, so is access per account, or still character based would be nice to know, I only have 1 character up to Chantry atm so can't check.

I can see why its hard, but its another case of the Factions elite >> Too easy (or in this case, challenging enough) for the dedicated, full time gamer. Far too hard for the part time gamer.

I'll give it 2 months and you will be able to buy the gemstones.
